About
Some things just click.
I grew up in the San Fernando Valley in the 70s and 80s — back when birthday parties meant Farrell's Ice Cream, weekends meant the Sherman Oaks Galleria, and after school meant Penguin's frozen yogurt with your friends.
If you know, you know.
There was something about growing up here that got into you. The streets, the heat, the ease of it. The feeling that this place, as unglamorous as outsiders made it out to be — was actually everything.
A few years ago I saw something that said "Valley Girl" and it stopped me cold. Not because of the stereotype. Because of the pride it triggered. That immediate, automatic love for where I'm from.
Something clicked.
I realized that while other parts of LA had their own "uniforms" and badges of honor, the Valley was missing its own. We had the culture, the history, and the heart, but we didn't have that one piece of clothing that said: "I’m from here, and I’m proud of it."
We deserved a brand that felt as premium and authentic as the memories we share.
So I created Tribe 818. Clean, wearable pieces for everyone who grew up here, lives here, or never really stopped calling it home. Not a trend. Not a moment. A feeling that doesn't go away.
It's a Valley State of Mind.
And if you feel it too — you're already part of the tribe.
